Mental Health Housing Foundation is a private nonprofit corporation that was organized in 1991 by a group of people, service providers and family members, who wanted to support people afflicted with mental illness in their efforts to live independently.

Our primary role is that of a landlord. We develop and operate affordable rental housing that’s dedicated to people enrolled in the public mental health system. We have single family homes that are shared by several people as roommates, we have small apartment buildings that offer private units and family housing, and we have condominium units integrated within larger condominium communities.
